Assistant Professor Craig Ramseyer was the guest Friday on WDBJ7’s studio show “Here @Home.” Meteorologist Catherine Maxwell, a proud Hokie alum, interviewed Craig about the expected heat and humidity that will face athletes in the upcoming Olympics in Paris, where hotter than normal temperatures have been recorded this summer. They also discussed how humidity levels combine with heat to affect the body.

Ramseyer and Associate Professor Bob Oliver are among the Virginia Tech experts who are able to offer expertise regarding issues faced at the Paris Olympics. Oliver is an expert on Olympic cities and has a view on the new push to use existing infrastructure while planning for future use of new construction.
